Atok, Benguet: Northern Blossom Flower Farm

ON OUR WAY BACK FROM SAGADA, we make a stop at Northern Blossom Flower Farm in Atok, Benguet, a stunning floral destination about a two-hour drive northeast of Baguio City. Although the farm has been operating for years, it was only recently opened to the public, quickly gaining popularity among travelers, photographers, and plant lovers. A feature on a lifestyle show further cemented its status as a must-visit spot in Benguet’s highlands.

A Warm Welcome in the Cold Highlands

The farm tour starts in a cozy reception area, where we are welcomed with hot coffee and crackers—a much-needed treat in Atok’s cold climate. The charming farmhouse ambiance makes it feel like a home outside the tropics. Before heading out to explore, we put on rubber boots, as the recent rains have turned the farm’s trails muddy.

Exploring the Flower Fields of Northern Blossom

The Northern Blossom Flower Farm is known for its vibrant floral landscapes and panoramic views of Mount Pulag on clear days. Unfortunately, our visit coincides with thick fog and the off-season for peak blooms. Instead of colorful fields stretching across the highlands, the atmosphere feels more like a scene from Silent Hill or The Mist.

Still, some flower beds remain in bloom, adding pops of color to the otherwise mystical, foggy setting. These areas become our focus, and we take plenty of Northern Blossom flower farm photos to capture the serene, dreamlike atmosphere.

A Unique Atok Experience

Even though we didn’t get the full bloom experience, the misty, ethereal ambiance of Northern Blossom Flower Farm gave us a different kind of beauty. Whether under the sun or blanketed in fog, this Atok tourist spot remains a charming and peaceful stopover in Benguet’s highlands. The farm must be a sight to behold on a sunny day, especially since it’s said to provide panoramic views with Mount Pulag in the horizon.

  1. Great photos. Kmusta ang kalsada pa-Atok

    1. Matraffic sobra at ma-fog. Umalis na rin kami agad ng Sagada kasi baka maabutan kami ng landslide.
